There are a number of ways that people may relay a requirement. Customers
may telephone a support department and the support department may report
bugs to the team (or fix bugs themselves). A customer may request an
enhancement. Anyone in the organization may have an idea for an
improvement. Customers may also request customizations. The names may

In general, a request is the act of asking, or expressing a desire, for
something; solicitation or petition. This generic term will be used to
include of the specific types of documents or activities listed here.
